Is there a rally on this weekend? If you didn’t know by now, where have you been! The Ilkley Jubilee Rally and Run has cars arriving in Otley Market Place from 5.30pm on Saturday 24th October. Thank you to everyone that has contributed in supporting the event. We have 104 marshals signed on to support the event thank you to each and everyone of you for giving up your time to make this fabulous event happen.
Also over the two days is the English Visitors Trial and the Tweeds Sporting Trial taking place in Larne, Northern Ireland. Competing from the club are Simon and Matt Kingsley in the Crossle.
There is also the Rhyl Targa and the Cambrian Rally running in Wales.
Fingers crossed the storm passes before the big event and we keep dry! Have a great weekend and I hopefully will see many of you over the weekend
Next Club Event
At this car comps meeting there will be a de brief for the 2026 club night events through the summer. This will be your chance to tell the club how the club night car trials and autotests went for you. Are there any improvements that can be made, what did you enjoy. All comments will be noted and discussed at future car comps and committee meetings. What the club needs from you is organisers for 2027 and land to run the events on. All new organisers will be supported and earn valuable points for themselves and their house in the relevant championships. As well as getting an overwhelming satisfaction of running a motorsport event😊 Come along and join in the discussion to make a difference in 2027👍
