- WHATS ON
Looking at the week ahead, on Saturday 7th March 2026, there is the Tour Of Cheshire Historic Rally with a healthy entry of Ilkley competitors. It was heavily oversubscribed with Ilkley members still on the reserve list. Competing from the club are Bevan Blacker and Niall Frost in the Ford Escort RS2000; Keith Davis and Henry Carr in the Peugeot 205; Stephen Owen and Elise Whyte in the Porsche 911.
Further a field we have a sporting trial in Cairncastle, Ireland on Saturday with Simon Kingsley representing the club in his Crossle.

Dont forget on Wednesday 11th March there is the month ‘noggin n natter’ catch up at the Cross Pipes in Otley from 8pm. Everyone is welcome to meet up and have a chat. Did you know that a noggin is a small measure of an alcoholic drink? So thats where the phrase originates.
There is then an exodus of Ilkley crews making their way over to the Isle of Man during the week to compete on the HERO Three Legs of Man. This is a jam packed two day event on 13th and 14th March, a full day and evening rallying with an 8 hour break til the crews are back in their seats again. Competing from the club are Bevan Blacker and Niall Frost in the Ford Escort RS2000; Andy Harrison and Henry Carr in the Orange Box; Andy Lane and Iain Tullie in the Mazda Eunos Roadster; Paul O’Kane and Richard Crozier in the Porsche 911s; Daryll Staniforth and Pete Johnson in the Toyota Corrolla; Nick and Andy Pullan in the Peugeot 205 Neil and Claire Raven in the Peugeot 205 GTI.

The Cross Pipes Tavern & Rooms is back and better than ever, right in the heart of Otley. After a thoughtful refurbishment, we’re delighted to welcome friends old and new into a space that still feels familiar, but with a fresh new look. Whether you’re dropping by for a pint or a cosy chat by the bar, you’ll always find a warm Yorkshire welcome waiting for you. We’ve worked hard to keep the character and charm that people love about the Cross Pipes, while giving it the refresh it deserved. It’s a place for locals to gather, for families to enjoy time together, and for visitors to feel part of the community. With proper drinks, a dog friendly atmosphere and plenty of friendly faces, it’s everything a pub should be.
