What a super day was had by the team of parking volunteers at Nidderdale Show at Pateley Bridge last Sunday. Stan Peel and his team collected a whopping £1,130.00 for the Yorkshire Air Ambulance. A fabulous achievement by the bucket shakers of all ages!
The annual pilgrimage to Dalby Forest takes place on Friday 25th and Saturday 26th September for both marshals and competitors from the club.
On Friday In the Trackrod Mini Challenge, we have Simon Jackson and Harry Forrest competing in the Mini R50.
On Saturday we have the Trackrod Forest Stages, a round of the BTRDA championship. Competing from the club and Nick Dobson and Phil Sandham in the Escort Mk2; David Dobson and Brian Hodgson in the Opel Manta; Jonny Hepworth and David Boyes in the Escort Mk2; Roger Priestnall and Jamie Forrest in the Proton Satria.
On Wednesday 30th there is the Economy run. So far on the entry list are 4 petrol and 2 electric cars. So come on let’s have some more entries: an additional hybrid or electric car will make a competitive class. Entries are £5 and the event starts at the Esso in Burley in Wharfedale at 18.45.
